Early in the twentieth century, when the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel was established, the term "foursquare" was often used to describe something or someone that was respected. It meant "solid," "balanced," and "true."
The International Church of the Foursquare Gospel began in about 1918 when evangelist Aimee Semple McPherson established her base in Los Angeles, California. Additional information can be found at www.foursquare.org.
We encourage Christians to be baptized soon after salvation. We perform baptisms after the 10:30 AM Sunday service on the last Sunday of each month. Check the Sunday bulletin for the next baptism date or contact us if you would like to be baptized.
Pick up a Foursquare Gospel Church Membership Application, located at the Information Booth in Café Viva. Read the information, complete the form, and drop it in the offering bucket or bring it to the church office. Note: You must be converted (saved) and baptized to become a member. If you cannot remember the exact date, please enter your best guess. You can also print a copy of the membership application form.
