What Your Neighbors Are Saying About Life Foursquare Church

When I came to Life Church almost 2 years ago, I desperately wanted to find a place of worship where I could fit in. It’s the people that drew me to this church—and kept me coming. They are a strong, determined group who surrounded me with love even though I pushed them away time and time again. That’s what keeps me here to this day. I love everything about Life Church and everyone who attends here. I'm glad to be part of a church that is growing and reaching the world for Christ. — Gwen (Angleton)

Life Church is a place where I fell welcome, comfortable, and an overwhelming sense of love and family. The people here are so real and just love God with all their hearts. It’s here that I truly learned what having a relationship with God is all about. — Nicole (Angleton)

I found myself asking, Is there a meaning to life? Oh yeah! That’s exactly what I got here—life. A new life with the One who made me! Incredible!! — Paco (Lake Jackson)

Life Church has given me and my family someplace to worship. But even more, it is a place where we can see the goodness and glory of living according to God’s word by the examples shown by the leaders and members of Life. It’s also a place to share our hopes, dreams, downfalls, and tragedies with caring and loving people. Life Church is a place where “worship” is done as in no other place that we have ever experienced. It’s a place where children are given that “base” we all talk about in God’s word and that includes those of us, like myself, who are children in our Christianity. Life Church is a place where you are hugged, loved, and treated better than we all deserve. It’s God’s place. — Richard (Danbury)

Moving from South Florida to Texas wasn’t what we expected to be doing to celebrate our first anniversary of marriage. But God had bigger plans for us than either of us could imagine and we knew that this move was a step in walking closer with God. He confirmed those plans in a variety of ways, including using a chance meeting with a stranger named Preacher Jones and a home inspector named Eddie. After our first visit we knew that God wanted us at this church, not only as members but to work actively in His ministry. — Jason and Debbie (Angleton)

December 10, 2004, I was in an awful car wreck that was bad enough to take my life. From the accident site, I called my pastor along with a couple of other people. I felt the strength of the prayers of all the people that began to pray for me. My pastor and two of my brothers in Christ came to the accident scene to be with me until Life Flight transported me to the hospital. Praise be to God! I came out with only a crushed ankle, but the beauty of this hard place in my life was not one step was taken alone. People from my church were diligent to see about my needs. I truly wanted for nothing. Christianity walked out is what best describes Life Church. — Alexis (Angleton)

Last year, my husband was accidentally shot. We were not members of Life Church but one of the pastoral staff was the first and only pastor to come, sit and pray with us. He stayed with us up to the moment when Life Flight left with my husband. I saw in them that even though we were not members of their congregation, we are ALL part of the Body of Christ. Life Church doesn't just love it's congregation. They love their neighbor and Christians in other churches. — Tammy (Danbury)

At my very first visit to Life Church I looked around and saw laughter and hugs. Everyone was casually dressed and they called the pastor by his first name (yet, with much respect). I felt like I was in someone’s home. That did it for me. It has been approximately 11 years since that first day and it still feels like home. I have learned a lot about life and that more abundantly through Jesus Christ. Life Church has taught me how to live and not just survive (a phrase taught to me by the pastor). — Gloria (Angleton)

What do I like about Life Church of Angleton? The answer simply is that God lives and works at Life Church. As evidence, the church staff is always diligent to see that they align in every endeavor with God's word. The pastors strive at all times, to live their lives above reproach, and not just inside the church doors. Finally, the people and staff at Life Church will truly love you no matter what color your skin is, which type of accent you may speak, or how thick your wallet may or may not be. — Ed & Shirley P. (Angleton)

Before our family decided to attend Life Church, my husband and I had a checklist of attributes that were the most vital to our family. We were amazed and blessed to discover them at Life Church, and still enjoy a church that continues to exceed all of our highest expectations! — Billy & Kathy (Angleton)

I've been connected to Life Church for 20 yrs. It's family to me. If you need acceptance and love this is the place. — Verna (Angleton)

I go to Life Foursquare because it is truly filled with the Holy Spirit. The pastors preach the full gospel, give all the glory to God, and are humble, faithful servants of the Lord. We have a church of unity, love, joy, and peace. We are Believers! — Odie (Angleton)

I have enjoyed the environment of Life Church for the last four years. The first thing I noticed was that pastor was wearing shorts, and it made me fell comfortable. The worship and teaching are awesome. I don’t even want to go home when the service is over. — Leonor (Clute)

Ever since I have been going to Uturn [youth ministry] at Life Church my life has been totally turned around. Instead of worrying about stupid things and stuff, I've been more concerned about reading the Bible everyday and things like that. It has been the greatest experience of my life. I can't wait until my little sister Allison can join me. — Dillon (Angleton)
