Fear
Psalm 46:1-3 — God is our refuge and strength, A
very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, Even
though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried
into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and
be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its
swelling.
2 Timothy 1:7 — For God has not given us a spirit of
fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
1 John 4:18 — There is no fear in love; but perfect love
casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears
has not been made perfect in love.

Lord, and He heard
me, And delivered me from all my fears.

you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart
be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Psalm 91 — He who dwells in the secret place of the Most
High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of
the Lord, “He
is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”
Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And
from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His
feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth
shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid
of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that
flies by day, Nor of the pestilence that walks in
darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste
at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand
at your right hand; But it shall not come near you. Only
with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked.
Because you have made the
Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High,
your dwelling place, No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any
plague come near your dwelling; For He shall give His angels
charge over you, To keep you in all your ways. In their
hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a
stone. You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, The young
lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot. “Because he
has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will
set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call
upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in
trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will
satisfy him, And show him My salvation.”

Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right
hand.’ “Behold, all those who were incensed against you Shall be
ashamed and disgraced; They shall be as nothing, And those who
strive with you shall perish. You shall seek them and not find
them— Those who contended with you. Those who war against you
Shall be as nothing, As a nonexistent thing. For I, the
Lord your God,
will hold your right hand, Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help
you.’ “Fear not, you worm Jacob, You men of Israel! I will help
you,” says the Lord
And your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.
Isaiah 51:12-16 — “I, even I, am He who
comforts you. Who are you that you should be afraid Of a
man who will die, And of the son of a man who will
be made like grass? And you forget the
Lord your Maker,
Who stretched out the heavens And laid the foundations of the
earth; You have feared continually every day Because of the fury
of the oppressor, When he has prepared to destroy. And
where is the fury of the oppressor? The captive exile
hastens, that he may be loosed, That he should not die in the
pit, And that his bread should not fail. But I am the
Lord your God, Who
divided the sea whose waves roared— The
Lord of hosts
is His name. And I have put My words in your mouth; I have
covered you with the shadow of My hand, That I may plant the
heavens, Lay the foundations of the earth, And say to Zion, ‘You
are My people.’ ”

Psalm 27:1-6 — The
Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I
fear? The Lord
is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? When
the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and
foes, They stumbled and fell. Though an army may encamp against
me, My heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In
this I will be confident. One thing I have desired
of the Lord, That
will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the
Lord All the days
of my life, To behold the beauty of the
Lord, And to
inquire in His temple. For in the time of trouble He shall hide
me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He
shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock. And now my head
shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I
will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing,
yes, I will sing praises to the
Lord.

I will not fear. What can man do to me?”
