Gospel
Romans 1:16-17 — For I am not ashamed of the gospel of
Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who
believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it
the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it
is written, “The just shall live by faith.”
Mark 16:15 — And He said to them, “Go into all the world
and preach the gospel to every creature.
2 Corinthians 5:18-21 — Now all things are of God,
who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has
given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was
in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their
trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of
reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as
though God were pleading through us: we implore you on
Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew
no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the
righteousness of God in Him.
Galatians 3:8 — And the Scripture, foreseeing that God
would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to
Abraham beforehand, saying, “In you all the nations
shall be blessed.”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8 — Moreover, brethren, I declare to
you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received
and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold
fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in
vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also
received: that Christ died for our sins according to the
Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the
third day according to the Scriptures, and that He was seen by
Cephas, then by the twelve. After that He was seen by over five
hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the
present, but some have fallen asleep. After that He was seen by
James, then by all the apostles. Then last of all He was seen by
me also, as by one born out of due time.
1 Corinthians 1:17-18 — For Christ did not send me to
baptize, but to preach the gospel, not with wisdom of words,
lest the cross of Christ should be made of no effect. For the
message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing,
but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
Galatians 1:6-9 — I marvel that you are turning away so
soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a
different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who
trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even
if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you
than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we
have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any
other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be
accursed.
