Love Others
Matthew 22:36-40 — “Teacher, which is the great
commandment in the law?” Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love
the Lord your
God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your
mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And
the second is like it: ‘You shall love your
neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all
the Law and the Prophets.” (NKJV)
Galatians 5:13-14 — For you, brethren, have been called
to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for
the flesh, but through love serve one another. For all the law
is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall
love your neighbor as yourself.” (NKJV)
John 13:34 — A new commandment I give to you, that you
love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one
another. (NKJV)
1 Corinthians 13:4-8 — Love suffers long and is
kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not
puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not
provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but
rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things,
hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. ….
(NKJV)
Matthew 9:36-38 — But when He saw the multitudes, He was
moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and
scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His
disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the
laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest
to send out laborers into His harvest.” (NKJV)
1 John 4:19-20 — We love Him because He first loved us.
If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a
liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how
can he love God whom he has not seen? (NKJV)
Matthew 5:43-47 — “You have heard that it was said,
‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I
say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do
good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully
use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father
in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the
good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you
love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the
tax collectors do the same? And if you greet your brethren only,
what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax
collectors do so? (NKJV)
1 Corinthians 16:14 — Let all that you do
be done with love. (NKJV)
Matthew 20:25-28 — But Jesus called them to Himself
and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over
them, and those who are great exercise authority over them. Yet
it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become
great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever desires to
be first among you, let him be your slave— just as the Son of
Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His
life a ransom for many.” (NKJV)
Ephesians 4:28 — Let him who stole steal no longer, but
rather let him labor, working with his hands what is
good, that he may have something to give him who has need.
(NKJV)
Luke 6:27-35 — “But I say to you who hear: Love your
enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse
you, and pray for those who spitefully use you. To him who
strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also. And
from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your
tunic either. Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who
takes away your goods do not ask them back. And just as
you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise. “But if
you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For
even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to
those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even
sinners do the same. And if you lend to those from whom
you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you? For even
sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back. But love your
enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and
your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most
High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil. (NKJV)
Mark 8:34-38 — When He had called the people to
Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever
desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his
cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will
lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s
will save it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the
whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in
exchange for his soul? For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words
in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man
also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father
with the holy angels.” (NKJV)
John 3:16 — For God so loved the world that He gave His
only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not
perish but have everlasting life. (NKJV)
Matthew 28:19-20 — Go therefore and make disciples of all
the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the
Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things
that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even
to the end of the age.” Amen. (NKJV)
Romans 12:1-2 — I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the
mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice,
holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable
service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be
transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove
what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
