Sexual Immorality
1 Corinthians 6:18-20 — Flee sexual immorality. Every sin
that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual
immorality sins against his own body. Or do you not know that
your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you,
whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were
bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in
your spirit, which are God’s.
Ephesians 5:3 — But fornication and all uncleanness or
covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting
for saints;
Hebrews 12:16 — lest there be any fornicator or
profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his
birthright.
Colossians 3:5-10 — Therefore put to death your members
which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil
desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Because of these
things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience,
in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them. But
now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath,
malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. Do not lie
to one another, since you have put off the old man with his
deeds, and have put on the new man who is renewed in
knowledge according to the image of Him who created him,
1 Corinthians 6:9-11 — Do you not know that the
unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be
deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers,
nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor
drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the
kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed,
but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of
the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.
1 Corinthians 5:9-11 — I wrote to you in my epistle not
to keep company with sexually immoral people. Yet I
certainly did not mean with the sexually immoral
people of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or
idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world. But
now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named
a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater,
or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner— not even to eat
with such a person.
Hebrews 13:4 — Marriage is honorable among all,
and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will
judge.
Deuteronomy 27:21 — ‘Cursed is the one who lies
with any kind of animal.’ “And all the people shall say, ‘Amen!’
Hosea 4:11 — “Harlotry, wine, and new wine enslave the
heart.
Deuteronomy 22:5 — “A woman shall not wear anything that
pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman’s garment, for
all who do so are an abomination to the
Lord your God.
